AI Summary

This bill amends the Administrative Code of 1929 to further provide for department heads, gubernatorial appointments, and deputies. It allows the Governor to appoint deputy heads of administrative departments, except the Department of Auditor General and Treasury Department, who can exercise the powers and duties of the department head in their absence. The bill also sets limits and requirements for these deputy appointments, such as a 90-day maximum term and restrictions on their compensation. Additionally, it requires designated deputies and nominees for department heads to appear before legislative appropriations committees upon request.
