This bill aims to amend the Small Business Act to modify application deadlines and communication requirements for certain disaster assistance. It would extend the deadline for disaster relief applications related to major disasters by 60 days and allow the Administrator of the Small Business Administration to accept late applications if the applicant demonstrates good cause. The bill also requires the Administrator to make additional efforts to communicate the deadline requirements to the public and to each Member of Congress representing a district affected by a major disaster.
