This bill, the Strengthening Science Through Diplomacy Act, aims to amend the International Organizations Immunities Act to extend certain privileges and immunities to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), a public international organization in which the United States participates. The bill authorizes the President to extend the provisions of the Act to CERN under terms and conditions determined by the President, in the same manner and to the same extent as it may be extended to other public international organizations in which the U.S. participates.
