This bill, the Special Interest Alien Reporting Act of 2024, requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to publish monthly reports on the total number and nationalities of "special interest aliens" (aliens who potentially pose a national security risk) encountered attempting to unlawfully enter the United States. The reports must also include the geographic regions where these encounters occurred, whether they were at ports of entry, between ports of entry, or in the interior, and identify any nationalities from "covered nations" (as defined in the U.S. Code).
