This bill establishes the Improving Digital Identity Task Force to develop secure methods for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies to improve access and enhance security between physical and digital identity credentials. The bill also requires the Office of Management and Budget to issue guidance to federal agencies on implementing the Task Force's recommendations and report on the progress of federal agencies in improving their digital identity verification capabilities.
