This bill amends the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to prohibit vehicles from stopping, standing, or parking on any lane designated for bicycles (referred to as "pedalcycles" in the bill), except when necessary to avoid an emergency vehicle. The bill specifies that this prohibition applies except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, protect safety, comply with the law, or follow the directions of a police officer or traffic control device. The bill will take effect 60 days after it is enacted.
