AI Summary
This bill establishes the "Garden Protection Act" to encourage and protect the sustainable cultivation of home vegetable gardens, native plant gardens, and pollinator gardens on residential property. The bill amends the Agriculture and Markets Law to define these garden types and prohibit municipalities from regulating them in a way that would preclude their cultivation, while still allowing for reasonable regulations related to height, setbacks, water use, fertilizer use, and invasive species control.
