This bill establishes an online voter registration system in Montana that allows residents to register to vote through the secretary of state's website. Applicants must provide their Montana driver's license or state identification card information, attest to the accuracy of their submitted information, and consent to using their signature from their ID for registration purposes. The secretary of state will verify applicants' information by comparing it against motor vehicle records, and if any information does not match, the application will be rejected with written notification to the applicant.
