AI Summary

This bill modifies reporting requirements for medical and professional occupations by eliminating several existing reporting mandates. Specifically, the bill removes the requirement for medical and chiropractic legal panels to send their decision outcomes to professional licensing boards, instead allowing them to simply communicate decisions to parties and attorneys and retain the decisions in their permanent files. The bill also repeals a section requiring insurers to report professional negligence to the Board of Medical Examiners. Additionally, the bill makes minor technical changes to language in sections related to immunity for providing information and potential license suspension, such as removing references to the repealed reporting requirement and making grammatical adjustments. While maintaining protections for good faith reporting, the bill streamlines reporting processes and reduces administrative burdens for medical professionals, legal panels, and insurers by removing what are likely deemed redundant or unnecessary reporting steps.
