This bill authorizes the select board of the town of Provincetown to establish a schedule of fines for parking violations, with the maximum fine set at $100 for most violations, $150 for parking within 10 feet of a fire hydrant, and $300 for violating handicap parking rules. The bill also allows the town to increase fines by up to $25 if they are paid later than 21 days after issuance but before being reported to the state registrar, and by up to $50 if paid after being reported to the registrar.
