This bill updates Texas law regarding the use of wireless communication devices while operating a motor vehicle, expanding and clarifying existing restrictions. The Texas Department of Transportation will be required to post signs at state highway entry points informing drivers of these restrictions. Named "Allie's Way," the bill will take effect on September 1, 2025, and will only apply to offenses committed on or after that date.
