The reports must be disaggregated by race, ethnicity, gender, special education status, and foster care status. The Texas Education Agency must aggregate this data, create an annual public report, and send a summary to each school district and charter school, which must then email the report and a comparative summary to parents. The bill will take effect for the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate implementation possible if it receives a two-thirds vote in the Texas Legislature.
