The bill also allows current employing law enforcement agencies to create and maintain a "provisional service record" for law enforcement officers who intend to leave their current employment to take a new position. The bill establishes procedures for law enforcement officers to review and potentially correct these records, and provides immunity from civil liability for law enforcement agencies that disclose information in good faith.
