This bill would prohibit the sale or export of certain defense articles, such as weapons and military equipment, to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) until the President certifies that the UAE is not providing material support to the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan. The defense articles covered by this prohibition include a wide range of military equipment, such as firearms, artillery, aircraft, and other items on the United States Munitions List. The purpose of this bill is to restrict the transfer of U.S. defense capabilities to the UAE in response to concerns about the UAE's involvement in the conflict in Sudan.
