The bill also addresses technical requirements for recycled water use, such as ensuring water quality, preventing cross-contamination, and maintaining appropriate plumbing systems. These changes are intended to support California's efforts to drought-proof communities and make more efficient use of water resources by promoting the expanded use of recycled water across various sectors.
