This bill authorizes the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to release a portion of a sewer line easement located in the West Roxbury section of Boston. The easement was originally taken by the Office of Metropolitan Sewage Commissioners in 1897 for the purpose of constructing, operating, and maintaining sewers and drains. The release of the easement will benefit the owner of the property at 49 Charles Park Road, Nora, LLC, and its successors or assigns. The release will be subject to terms and conditions prescribed by the Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, in consultation with the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, and the consideration for the release will be the full and fair market value of the portion of the easement as determined by an independent professional appraisal.
