This bill establishes a new historic distillery license for premises listed in the New Jersey Register of Historic Places. The license allows the holder to manufacture, blend, and distribute distilled alcoholic beverages, with the unique ability to sell these products for on-premises consumption at the historic site and off-premises consumption, limited to five liters per person. The licensee can also offer up to three samples per day, each not exceeding half an ounce. Like other similar distillery licenses, the historic distillery license prohibits selling food or operating a restaurant on-site but allows coordination with food vendors. The annual fee for this license is $1,000. The license cannot be used to directly ship distilled spirits within or outside the state.
