This funding is not part of the base budget for the next biennium and requires a report to the legislative assembly. * The bill increases various fees charged by the securities division, including fees for broker-dealers, agents, investment advisers, and investment adviser representatives. * The annual salary of the insurance commissioner is increased to $139,256 through June 30, 2026, and to $143,434 thereafter. * A new requirement mandates that government self-insurance pools report annually to the legislative management on their activities, including claims, finances, and compensation. * Any additional federal funds that become available to the insurance commissioner during the biennium are also appropriated, with a reporting requirement to the office of management and budget and the legislative council.
