This bill establishes clear timelines and procedures for state and local governmental bodies when processing license, permit, and certification applications. Under the bill, when a license application is received, the governmental body must first determine if the application is complete within 15 calendar days, providing written notice to the applicant of any deficiencies. If the application is complete, the governmental body must then approve or deny the application within 45 calendar days.
