This bill requires that reports on the administration of managed long term care plans, which are programs that coordinate long-term care services for individuals, be submitted annually instead of twice a year. It also mandates that specific data, such as service utilization, expenditures per member, complaint and appeal details, and metrics for timely access to services and transitions between institutional and community-based care, be included in these reports and posted on the department's website in an interactive format. Furthermore, managed long term care plans will be required to report this new data through a system the department will develop by October 1, 2026, and the final audited cost reports for these plans will be made available for download in a CSV format within thirty days of their completion.
