These antagonists can be used to help any student, staff, or individual on the premises who is suspected of experiencing an opioid overdose, regardless of their previous history of opioid abuse. The training and provision of these medications are intended to help prevent fatal overdoses in campus housing settings by ensuring quick access to life-saving intervention. The bill will take effect immediately upon passage.
