This resolution proposes an amendment to Article IX, Section 15 of the Arizona Constitution regarding aircraft license taxes, making some technical corrections to the existing language. The amendment would maintain the existing provision that imposes a license tax on aircraft registered in Arizona, which would replace all property taxes on those aircraft, while preserving specific exemptions for certain types of aircraft. The resolution removes the original text specifying that the license tax began on January 1, 1965, and makes a minor grammatical edit changing "air line" to "airline". If approved, the amendment would be submitted to Arizona voters at the next general election, as required by the state constitution, and would take effect upon voter approval and the Governor's proclamation.
