This resolution authorizes the Clerk of the House of Delegates to perform several administrative tasks related to the 2025 legislative session. Specifically, the Clerk is permitted to print up to 150 copies of the Acts of the 2025 regular session in buckram binding, including any acts from extraordinary sessions, and to publish up to 150 copies of the House of Delegates Journal. The resolution allows for electronic copies if print demand exceeds available volumes, and ensures that each legislator can receive a copy of the Acts and Journal upon request. Additionally, the Speaker is authorized to appoint personnel to assist with indexing, printing, and distributing legislative documents, with compensation to be paid from the Per Diem of Officers and Employees Fund or the Contingent Fund. The Clerk is also tasked with compiling a Legislative Manual containing legislative rules and other useful information, collaborating with the Senate Clerk to create a comprehensive document. Finally, the resolution grants the Clerk authority to process travel expenses, per diem, and mileage for House of Delegates members as authorized by the Speaker, in accordance with existing state code provisions.
