This bill amends the New York State Education Law to change the composition of the State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees. Currently, the board consists of 18 members, with 15 appointed by the governor. The bill reduces the number of gubernatorial appointees from 15 to 10 and adds new appointed and elected positions.
