This bill establishes the Hoosier Scam Prevention Board, a 15-member board under the executive branch aimed at protecting Indiana citizens from scams. Board members who are not state employees will receive travel expense reimbursement but no salary per diem. Any materials or findings produced by the board will be posted on the attorney general's website, and the board's expenses will be paid from the state general fund. The board can only take action with a majority vote of its appointed voting members.
