This bill establishes the Mississippi Hospital Emergency Grant Program within the State Department of Health to provide financial assistance to hospitals experiencing economic challenges. The program creates a special Hospital Emergency Grant Fund in the state treasury, which will be funded through legislative appropriations, federal funds, donations, and other sources.
