This resolution congratulates the Wausa High School one-act team for winning the 2024 Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) Class D-1 State Play Production Championship, which was held in Norfolk, Nebraska from December 11-13. The team, under the direction of coaches Sheila and Brad Hoesing, earned first place with a score of 178 points for their production of "Torn, the Seven Deadly Sins," a play written by Sheila Hoesing. Individual team members were also recognized, with Braydon Hoesing winning Outstanding Performer, and Braden Bloomquist and Jake Munter receiving Outstanding Technical Crew Member awards. The resolution acknowledges that such achievements are made possible through the support of teachers, administrators, parents, and the community, and formally congratulates the team while also arranging for copies of the resolution to be sent to the team members and coaches as a form of official recognition and celebration of their artistic and competitive success.
