This resolution recognizes and honors Major Clint Morris and Captain Dee Morris for their extensive and distinguished careers in law enforcement with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office in Georgia. Over their combined nearly seven decades of service, they worked in multiple divisions including Narcotics, Criminal Investigations, SWAT, and Juvenile Divisions, each earning Officer of the Year Awards and making significant contributions to public safety. Major Morris implemented speed detection devices, served on various specialized teams, and was awarded a Purple Heart and Medal of Valor, while Captain Morris co-founded the Paulding County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program, helped create the Family Alliance of Paulding, developed the Junior Law Enforcement Academy, and worked extensively in child-focused divisions. The resolution commends them for their efficient, effective, and unselfish public service, and wishes them continued health and happiness in retirement. As a final act, the resolution directs the Senate Secretary to provide them with copies of this official recognition.
