This bill establishes a new tuition scholarship fund for spouses and dependents of law enforcement officers in Arizona. The Arizona Board of Regents will administer the fund, which will be financed through legislative appropriations and can use up to 3% of its funds for administrative costs. Eligible recipients must be either the spouse of a law enforcement officer or a dependent under 27 years old, and must enroll in qualifying educational institutions such as state universities, community colleges, career technical education programs, or licensed private postsecondary institutions.
