The chief clerk must review the notice within 30 calendar days of receipt and payment of the filing fee. A notice is considered sufficient if it includes all required information from RCW 36.93.130, any additional board-specific requirements, and exhibits demonstrating completed statutory requirements. If the notice is found insufficient, it will be returned to the initiator for correction, with the chief clerk having 14 calendar days to review the corrected submission.
