Within 180 days after producing the report, the Secretary must submit the full report to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, along with recommendations for potential legislative actions and the Secretary's response to the study's findings. The bill defines key terms like "critical supply chain resilience" as mitigating vulnerabilities and improving the ability to withstand supply chain interruptions, and "manufacturing and industrial innovation" as providing assistance, expertise, and policy development for U.S. manufacturers.
