This bill amends Idaho Code Section 36-2103 to expand the existing exceptions to the definitions of "outfitter" and "guide" by adding a new exemption for public or private postsecondary educational institutions that are accredited by an organization recognized by the state board of education. The bill also makes some technical corrections to the language, such as clarifying the grammatical structure of existing exceptions. The existing exceptions already include private landowners providing services on their own property, people who rent equipment to hunters or fishermen without extended guiding services, and certain nonprofit organizations that provide outdoor experiences to young people.
