This bill amends the Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law to require that when a warrant of eviction is issued, it must include suicide prevention resources printed in clear, bold, 14-point type. Specifically, the warrant must provide contact information for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and the applicable Suicide Crisis telephone number from the New York State Office of Mental Health. These resources must be given to the person or persons being evicted at the time the eviction notice is served.
