This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to expand fee exemptions for the newly established Office of Ombudsperson for American Indian Families in court proceedings. These exempt actions include child support enforcement or modification, medical assistance enforcement, establishment of parentage, civil commitment proceedings, appointments of public conservators or guardians, court relief proceedings under various chapters of Minnesota law, and additional legal actions related to child welfare and family law.
