This bill introduces a comprehensive framework for parental loss restitution in cases of criminal vehicular homicide in North Dakota. The legislation allows courts to order monthly restitution payments to minor children of a deceased victim until they reach 18 years old when an individual is found guilty of criminal vehicular homicide.
