This bill appropriates funds for K-12 school building and facility projects for the fiscal biennium commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2026. * **Major Maintenance Projects:** $29,832,716.00 from the Public School Foundation Program Account for component level major maintenance projects at various schools across the state. * **Campbell County School District #1 Transportation Facility:** $14,473,224.00 from the Public School Foundation Program Account for the construction and demolition of a transportation facility ancillary building. * **Campbell County School District #1 High School (Phase 1):** $20,000,000.00 from the Public School Foundation Program Account for the design, construction, site preparation, and demolition of a high school building and facility. These funds remain available until the project is complete. * **Campbell County School District #1 High School (Phase 2):** $130,884,528.00 from the Public School Foundation Program Account, available from March 15, 2026, until the high school building and facility project is complete, for construction and demolition. * **Unanticipated Costs:** $11,711,428.00 from the Public School Foundation Program Account for unforeseen expenses related to the projects funded by this bill. * **Reappropriation for Inflationary Costs:** Up to $13,400,000.00 from the School Capital Construction Account is reappropriated to the School Facilities Commission to supplement previous appropriations for inflationary costs on approved projects. These funds cannot be used for other purposes. The bill also includes provisions for reporting on project deployment, conditions for expenditure, and a study on the potential for the state construction department to direct all major building and facility repair and replacement for K-12 public schools. Unexpended funds for specific projects will revert to the Public School Foundation Program Account upon completion.
