This bill mandates that if fifteen percent of the voting-age citizens in an election district speak the same language other than English at home, based on the most recent United States Census data, then election boards must provide at least one poll worker at polling places within that district who speaks that specific language. This requirement applies to both newly established and existing election districts. These assigned poll workers will then be available to provide translation services to voters in the language that qualified the district for this provision, upon request.
