This bill establishes a comprehensive process for removing individuals from recreational vehicle (RV) parks under specific circumstances. The owner or operating agent of an RV park may refuse accommodations or request a person to leave immediately for reasons including disruptive behavior (such as intoxication, profanity, or illegal conduct), failure to pay rent, disturbing other guests, or creating safety hazards. If a person refuses to leave after such a request, they can be considered a trespasser, and the park owner may call law enforcement to remove the individual and their property. Law enforcement officers are authorized to remove or arrest the person, with the individual losing their right to occupancy. The bill provides a 48-hour window for the person to remove their personal property, after which the park owner can remove it. Importantly, the bill explicitly states that refusal of accommodations cannot be based on race, color, national origin, sex, physical disability, or creed, ensuring protection against discrimination.
