The bill also requires rental agreements to include more detailed information, such as the landlord's contact information for notices, a specific legal notice about tenant rights, and a new requirement for landlords to provide written lease renewal notices with any rent increase at least 90 days before the lease end date for fixed-term leases of one year or longer. Any provisions in a rental agreement that violate these requirements would be considered void. The bill is tied to two other Senate bills and will only take effect if those companion bills are also enacted into law.
