Importantly, the bill prohibits pharmacy benefit managers from requiring patients to transport clinician-administered drugs to healthcare providers. These provisions aim to improve the process of dispensing and delivering specialized medications, ensuring patient safety and provider flexibility. The act will become operative on January 1, 2026.
