This bill amends Alaska Statute 05.15.690(47) to redefine "snow classic," which is a game of chance where participants guess the total snow accumulation at a specific location on a particular date and time to win a cash prize. The changes remove the previous limitations that restricted snow classics to Mount Alyeska and specifically to the Alyeska Snow Classic operated by Four Valleys Community School, Inc., thereby broadening the scope of what can be considered a snow classic under state law.
