This resolution recognizes and celebrates the Mountain Home Bombers boys' cross country team for winning the Class 5A state championship at Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on November 7, 2024. The team achieved their third consecutive and seventh overall state championship, decisively winning by 57 points over the Hot Springs Lakeside Rams. Jackson Free won the individual title with a time of 16:06:17 and was one of five Bombers runners to make the All-State team, with other top performers including Conner King (third place), Garrett Barr (fourth place), Trenton Smith (sixth place), and Wave Simmons (nineteenth place). The team was coached by Wil Norris, Tilda Helgesson, and Roddy Patrick. The resolution formally congratulates the team and directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to the coaches by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
