This resolution honors Robert Andrew Huddleston, a native of Wilson County, Tennessee, recognizing his extensive career in Christian ministry and missionary work. Born in Wilson County and a graduate of Lebanon High School, Huddleston began his missionary career in 1977 with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a non-denominational para-church organization, where he worked for forty years and eventually became a staff development coordinator. Throughout his career, he developed a Volunteer Support Development Seminar, taught biblical financial principles nationally and internationally, and founded Mission Enablers International (MEI), a nonprofit organization that supports missionaries and ministries. In 2000, he established MEI, which is now headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, and continues to publish Christian authors' books and support various missionary locations. Huddleston is also the president of Kenya Islands Mission, a Tennessee nonprofit supporting eco-missions in Kenya. A devoted family man, he has been married for fifty years to Susan Grace McMahon, and they have seven children and nineteen grandchildren. The resolution commends Huddleston for his lifetime of service, commitment to ministry, and embodiment of Tennessee values, extending best wishes for his continued success.
