This resolution commends the Jackson State University (JSU) "Sonic Boom of the South" marching band and its director, Dr. Roderick Little, for their outstanding performance at the 2025 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. The resolution highlights the band's significant achievements, including performing at the Super Bowl LVIII half-time show with Usher, appearing on Good Morning America, and participating in the 2021 Presidential Inauguration Parade.
