The newly added Panama invasion period will now allow children of service members who were present during this brief military operation to be eligible for these scholarships, alongside children of veterans from other recognized military conflicts such as World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and operations in the Middle East. This change aims to recognize and provide educational support for the children of veterans who served during this specific military intervention.
