The Office of Information Technology Services will assist these agencies in developing these accessible menus. The bill aims to make government services more comprehensible and navigable for people with cognitive disabilities by presenting information in multiple, user-friendly formats. The new requirements will take effect 180 days after the bill becomes law, giving agencies time to develop and implement these specialized website resources.
