This bill amends the Community Behavioral Health Care Professional Loan Repayment Program Act to expand the list of healthcare professionals eligible for loan repayment grants from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. Specifically, the bill adds licensed occupational therapists and licensed occupational therapy assistants to the existing list of professionals who can receive grants. These professionals would be eligible for up to $15,000 per year in loan repayment assistance, for a maximum of 4 years, subject to state appropriation.
