The bill also requires election authorities to update their websites every 12 hours with detailed information about vote-by-mail ballots for each precinct, including the number of ballots that have been requested but not received, received but not yet tabulated, and rejected. These provisions aim to increase public transparency and provide real-time access to election process information, helping to build public trust in the electoral system by keeping voters and interested parties informed about the progress of vote counting and ballot processing.
