This bill amends the environmental conservation law to establish strict penalties for individuals and entities found guilty of solid waste pollution violations. Specifically, the bill imposes escalating restrictions on procuring public contracts related to solid waste and serving on boards of waste management entities. For felony violations, the first offense results in a five-year ban from solid waste public contracts, the second offense triggers a ten-year ban, and three or more violations lead to a permanent prohibition.
