This resolution recognizes and commends the Georgia Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Hub, a nonprofit organization founded in October 2022 by Victoria Huynh. The organization's mission is to strengthen the nonprofit ecosystem and advance the social, cultural, political, and economic well-being of AAPI communities in Georgia. In less than three years, the Hub has achieved significant milestones, including forming key partnerships, securing nearly $560,000 in grant funding to support over 22 AAPI nonprofits across the state, and creating the AAPI Civic Engagement Coalition. The organization has also been active in community engagement, hosting events such as census coalition convenings, Day of Remembrance events, community focus groups, and round-tables with White House officials. In July 2024, the Hub partnered with APIA Vote to broaden its nonpartisan voter engagement efforts. The resolution formally recognizes the Hub's outstanding contributions and extends best wishes for its continued growth and success, with the House of Representatives' Clerk authorized to distribute an official copy of the resolution to the organization.
